[Writing the Manuscript]

• 1. Thesis should be written by referring to the ‘Manuscript Writing Template’.
• 2. Thesis files should be submitted using ‘MS Word’.
• 3. The language should be Korean and English.
• 4. Write in the following order: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Main Text, References, Appendix, and Metadata for Dataset (metadata).
• 5. Title should be written in Korean and English.
• 6. The abstract, key words, references, and metadata for dataset must be in English, and the metadata must include the DOI address of the data.
• 7. Data Availability Statement (DAS) should be prepared by referring to the ‘DAS Template’.
• 8. Papers for review should not contain any information about authors, acknowledgments, conflict of interest, or funding information.
• 9. Articles that have been accepted for final publication should include all information about the authors in the front matter and acknowledgments, funding information, and conflicts of interest in the references.

[Authors and Affiliations]

• 1. Authors should be written in both Korean and English. When writing the authors in Korean, connect their names with 「, 」 in case of joint names. When writing authors in English, write them in the order of first name and last name, capitalizing the first letter of the first name and last name and lowercasing the rest, connecting them with ‘and’ in the case of two authors, connecting them with ‘and,’ in the case of three or more authors, and enclosing the name of the last author with ‘and.’ 2.
• 2. The order of authors is arranged with the first author as the lead author, followed by the second author, and then the third author in order of contribution to the paper. The corresponding author oes not have to be the lead author.
• 3. All authors should indicate their institutional affiliation with a numerical superscript, and Corresponding Author should be indicated separately with *. All authors should list their degree status or title.
  E.g. Undergraduate Student, Master Student, Doctoral Student, Postdoctoral, Senior, Principal Investigator, Researcher, Professor, Associate Professor, Officer, Director, etc.
• 4. Write your affiliation in both Korean and English and include the name of your institution and department. When writing an address in Korean, write the standard address with the postal code. When writing the address in English, write the standard English address with the postal code.
• 5. Corresponding author should include e-mail, laboratory phone, and ORCiD ID.

[Abstract and Keywords]

• 1. The abstract should be 300 words or less in English, including the purpose and description of the data.
• 2. Keywords should be around 5 words in English.

[Main Text]

• 1. Manuscripts may be written in Korean or English, but English manuscripts must be proofread in English before submission.
• 2. The title of the manuscript should be written in both Korean and English, and the first letter of the English title and the first letter of each word in the title except articles, prepositions, and conjunctions should be capitalized.
• 3. The number of chapters and sections shall be indicated in the order of 1, 1), (1), ①.
• 4. Tables should be expressed concisely with only plain lines, and the table number should be placed at the top. Example) Table 1. Both the table description and the inside of the table should be written in English, and when describing internal citations, put parentheses (e.g., a), b), c)) on the right side with superscript Romanized lowercase letters.
• 5. Figures should have a resolution of at least 200 dpi and should be numbered at the bottom.
  Example) Fig. 1. Both the figure description and the inside of the figure must be written in English. Footnotes are not allowed.
• 6. When citing literature in the text, indicate the year of publication.
• 7. In principle, units should be written in SI (Systeme International). oC, %, o, ‘,’, ‘’ are pasted with numbers, and other units are spaced out.
• 8. When abbreviations and symbols are repeatedly used, the exact content is defined in the first place, and the abbreviation is used in subsequent places.

[Acknowledgments - Optional]

Acknowledge people who have helped you beyond their normal areas of responsibility. In particular, mention people who have made significant contributions to your research or provided expertise that you lack. The order of acknowledgments is intellectual contributions, technical assistance, and proofreading assistance.

[Funding Information - Essential]

Disclose sources of research funding.

[Conflict of Interest - Essential]

Include an author’s declaration that the research is objective and impartial. Disclose that the research is independent of external factors such as financial gain or misconduct in the review process.

[Data Availability Statement - Essential]
